visits her cousin Rosie Rabbit and brings a basket of pink primroses and her teddy-bear!
‘Morning Molly’ said Rosie Rabbit. ’Morning Rosie’ said Molly Rabbit.
‘Lovely to see you, my dear. Keeping well?’
‘Mustn’t grumble. What do you think of my new boots?’
Molly Rabbit spent a lot of time, yesterday, being most particular about the little flowers that just HAD to be embroidered onto her booties!
‘Now, my dear, sit up nicely – one for the family album’
‘What’s that? Speak up a bit, dear’
‘Of course you can try on my hat! That ear of yours is just so floppy!’
‘Oh you do look a picture, Rosie – love that hat. Would you like one too?’
I think Mollie and Rosie are going to have some adventures together. They’re a rather old-fashioned prim pair of bunnies.
It’s definitely hat-wearing weather here in the UK at the moment – easterly winds from way up north are fit to blow your ears off (if you’re a bunny)! I think I’d better make Miss Rosie a hat to keep her warm.
