Spring is sprung
The grass is riz
I wonder where the birdies is?
Well the birdies in our garden are as busy as bees – and the bees are quite busy too, as they buzz around the winter honeysuckle. I brought some lovely daffs and anenomies from Cornwall this weekend and as the flowering cherry tree is about to burst it’s buds any day now, I think that Spring is definitely here.
Today though is a quiet Sunday and I’ve made a beef and ale casserole, so only logged on for a minute to find a recipe for dumplings (Note to self – diets should always start on a Monday)! Jamie seems to have an unusual recipe with no suet (that’s good) and rather a lot of butter (not so good), but maybe worth a try.
If you’re making a note of the craft market days in Alton, I’ve just received a message to say that the May market has moved from 14th to 7th.
