Planning ahead …

12/09/2011 § 2 Comments

It’s always good to have something to look forward to, goals to achieve, dreams to aspire to …

and somewhere to jot them down would be good too!

Now I’m an avid notebook person – you know the type – anything and everything gets jotted down, endless lists and ideas are noted and because I have so many notebooks, I usually forget in which book that ace design idea is hiding.

I won’t write anything in next year’s diary until the New Year has chimed in. ¬†Another one of my mother’s superstitions – no new calendars on the wall, nothing written in a diary until Dad had crossed the doorstep with a piece of coal just after midnight!

But I couldn’t resist a very quick flick through my new diary, even if it is over 3 months until I can use it …

Quilt Diary

So looking ahead to next year – after all the festivities of Christmas and dwindling daylight hours, I shall look forward to Spring and feasting my eyes on a inspiringly beautiful quilt, each week.

Pop over to Wendy’s blog at 1st Unique Gifts to see what everyone’s been making and designing – My Handmade Monday contribution this week is my 2012 diary and the hope that I can build in some designing and creating time each day – ah, such stuff as dreams are made of!
