Rainy days and Sundays …

Winchester’s Art & Design Market was a bit soggy on Sunday …
Great debate amongst the stallholders about whether it was too early to display Christmas wares. Most of us had a ‘taster’ section to get people in the mood for the festive season! It was lovely to meet regular customers and new alike. The Winchester market is quite a challenge – stalls seem to be moved around the market at random but I enjoyed my day in front of M&S, with easy access to a coffee shop! Trading from 3 open sides is quite a challenge too – not sure I’ll use this layout again despite it being a good working space and providing some dry shelter for shoppers.
Next month is going to be busy, with markets in Alton and Winchester again and an additional day at Blackmoor Farm Apple Day – definitely one for the calendar!
Onwards and upwards – quite literally in my case – upstairs to the vacated sewing studio, now that the boys have ventured back to university and beyond! I do miss you really Joe & Jack.
My husband has rechristened himself the Housework Fairy (from this point forward to be abbreviated to HF) – he says that his abiding image of this summer is …
half empty (or half full) cans of beans – staple diet of large boys!
Happy Autumn everyone!
