Christmas is coming …

I’m not counting days or weeks but …
it’s definitely on its way. We’ve been attempting to work out the logistics of all 3 of our brood joining us for most of December. Bedrooms have, over the years, given way to studies and, most importantly (in my opinion), sewing rooms! And, of course, I’m expecting a new arrival of my own – no it’s not a physiological miracle – please see previous post!!! Our little home will be bursting at the seams.
Today I’m planning to sort out my stock ready for tomorrow’s Winchester Art & Design market. I’ve been busy making Hottie covers – all patchwork, ribbon and lace. And I’ve crocheted a cushion over the last week – it’s just the right time of year for cosying up on the sofa in the evening, with a warm collie at my feet, the Housework Fairy by my side and a basket of wool somewhere within reach! I’m not sure it’ll make it to my stand tomorrow – I may just have to keep it for me – who knows.
Hope to see you tomorrow – parking is free in Winchester on Sundays now. The Christmas lights are up (and very stylish) so if you need a little something to put you in the mood, then pop along. Do say Hello – I’m somewhere near Starbucks on the High Street.
