It’s the most wonderful time of the year
There’ll be much mistltoeing
And hearts will be glowing
When loved ones are near
It’s the most wonderful time of the year
It’s time to snuggle up under a cosy quilt and watch old films while the fire flickers and the Christmas tree twinkles …
Time to wish for a little bit of magic …
Time to add a bit of zing …
and to support our local friends and shopkeepers …
to wish our customers a Very Merry Christmas and thank them for their custom …
This week is where my Christmas officially begins. Lists are being scribbled – they will be lost! The tree will be decorated and fussed over. Presents will be purchased, or made and lovingly wrapped when the sellotape reveals itself from it’s hiding place! Cards will be written and delivered, where possible, by the Housework Fairy on his bike. Pop over to Wendy’s Handmade Monday blogspot to see what everyone else has been up to.
There’s one more trip out to Winchester Art market next Sunday and then I’ll be on holiday! I’m going to enjoy this week first though, full of Christmas preparations. I hope it stays dry, unlike yesterday when we all got drenched in Winchester. Alton on Saturday was buzzing with excited children and shoppers – great weather too – crisp and cold and sunny.
Have a good week … it is the most wonderful time of the year!

It is a wonderful time of the year, I fully intend to enjoy it, snuggled under a quilt watching films is a great idea, although I usually fall asleep half way through.

Have fun getting festive! I love Christmas and your quilt just makes me think of nights by the fire. Okay, I don’t have a fire… maybe I could cuddle by the radiator instead??

Sounds wonderful to go to an art market, even tho I don’t really know what that is. It just sounds fun. 🙂 I expect you will share photos anyway, so I will know presently! Have a good time. Your photos you posted are so pretty. I’m in the spirit now.
