“Vogue – evocative of fashion models during photograph shoots”
and finally …
Vogue Quilt – retro style!
I’ve had SUCH fun creating this quilt. It’s 56″ x 50″, all free-motion wibbly-wobbly quilted through the cotton wadding and black winceyette backing. (I’m sure it burns off a few calories doing this – all that wibbling and wobbling)! The red polka dot binding has been hand-stitched right the way around too – phew! There’s a name label on the reverse, embroidered on one of the panels showing a stunning 1930’s girl and as always, the quilt has been dated and signed – my first quilt of 2012!
Vogue is going into a gallery at the beginning of February – unless it finds a good home beforehand! It’s just waiting for a super-stylish boudoir, or chaise – in the drawing room perhaps?
Now, on to the next project …
Uummmmmmmm – I wonder what that will be?

Wow that is amazing! And you did it so quickly – well done. Mich x

Lovely quilt. How do you do your labels? I am impressed by the FMQ, I so want to do that well, and have a quilt awaiting, but no courage to do it with!

I have an Elna embroidery machine which is awesome for doing labels and text sentiments. I’m planning a bookworm quilt next! Watch this space…
