Hello again …

enjoyed your summer? Is it over yet? Well, who knows, but certainly the nights are drawing in, blackberries are ripening in the hedgerows, the landscape is turning from greens to golden harvest fields then browns as the land is ploughed in steady rows again.
I’ve been busy, making quilts, crocheting, Dollying and jaunting around the south-west most weeks and totally reorganising my now-aptly-named ‘studio’! I spent every single penny of my holiday pocket-money on fabrics and yarns – I must have visited almost every fabric & wool shop from Barnstable to Bangor!
There are so many photos to share but I’m going to start Ta-Dah-ing with a quilt I finished in the afternoon sunshine earlier on today …
I’ve become completely hooked on patchwork and quilting – a whole baker’s dozen of them finished since the start of the school holidays!
There’s so much to show and tell, but I’m going to leave it there for now and treat myself to an online jaunt over to Wendy’s Handmade Monday, later on this evening and meet up with some old buddies and their makes.
Pop by soon – I’ll show you Misty Morning, my magical crochet blanket next, probably tomorrow.

Another great quilt. You have been busy. I usually spend all my holiday money on fabrics/crafty stuff as well!

Wow – you have been really busy! I am so impressed. Wish I could produce things at that rate. Your quilts look amazing. I particularly like the blue one in the middle photo – all soft and calming. 🙂

I love the quilt, it is so simple yet so sophisticated 🙂
I am about to start cutting a flying geese quilt, I know I will be fine once I start but it is just pushing myself to start 😦

Love the quilt, I haven’t made one for years and I think it probably would take me years to make one now! 🙂

How many?? Really good quilt, more details noticeable in each pic. I definitely agree with the calming comment.
And no just about to get to summer thank goodness! (Australia)
