Linen pincushions

with alpaca yarn crochet motifs …
Well, we’ve survived to tell the tale and whilst life has had its moments in recent weeks, I’ve also fitted in some crochet. My thanks to all of you who have sent good wishes and positive vibes. My beloved man is rapidly becoming bionic!
I’ve needed some crochet therapy and treated myself to some soft alpaca yarns in delicious colours. These pretty little pincushions are the result! I’ve been searching for some time for a good supplier of quality linen and I’m delighted with the texture of this softened linen and the colours – aubergine, cherry-red and natural – wow!
I tweaked my usual African flower motif to form a square as well as the hexagonal flowers. I’ve been raiding my button box for vintage buttons and have been crocheting happily in spare moments.
They’re over at my new Etsy shop, so do pop over and have a look.
Hope everyone is having a Happy Easter and that the sun is shining, even if it’s still chilly! Do have a catch up with everyone at Handmade Monday with Wendy from 1st Unique Gifts.
I’m also linking up to TGIFF (thank goodness it’s finished Friday) and there are some awesome quilts over there!
