Summer and stuff …

Our long, lazy, hazy summer days have drifted between activity and relaxation in an easy mix. Dolly has been jaunting, I have been quilting and quilting and quilting.
Here are a few delights from recent weeks …
And in the early morning light, there’s the merest whiff of a change of season – the sun seems a little lower in the sky, cobwebs and dewdrops and the smell of damp …
How’s your summer been?

Gorgeous summer photos, Wales is beautiful.Your quilts are gorgeous, you’ve certainly fitted in plenty over the summer. Here the summer has been warm enough for me to sit out on my lounger a few morning. The past couple of years the lounger hasn’t moved out of the loft! The weather looks good for the bank holiday so hoping to do some more outside lounging!
Hope you have a lovely week.

My summer has been good but not as gorgeous as yours! What beautiful scenery and quilts – great combination.

Exactly the same for my lounger – I dusted it down again this morning in readiness for the coming week (hopefully)!

What lovely summery photos. Wales is a very pretty part of the country. Haven’t been there for years though.
My summer seems to have been spent on a train heading to/from London for various hospital things. Roll on next year though as we’re off on a Med cruise. Can’t wait !! xx

There’s nothing like a holiday to look forward to – so exciting. Let’s hope we have a bit more hot weather this summer too.
