March & April Quilts ::
I made lots of patchwork tops in March and quilted them in April. All my quilts are made using traditional techniques and are finished in the traditional way with hand-stitching all around the bindings.
A striking design and combination of strong colours made me think of classy Mayfair in London. This quilt has STYLE!
Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Sophistication in a quilt – think Hepburn as Holly Golightly!
Retro prints in a subtle palette of greys, reds with aqua accents set in a crisp framework – this quilt is seriously smart.
I love this quilt with its lively shades and signature patches featuring a foxy family, leaping hares, secretive squirrels and beautiful butterflies set in a magical woodland.
Little Homes Quilt
Crisp and clean in design and colour this adorable quilt features Russian Baboushka dolls, Scandi-influenced homes, stylised flowers and an amazing array of polka dots and retro prints in a classic log-cabin design. A really pretty quilt backed with pure white fleece. Quilted ‘in the ditch’ in an attractive grid pattern.
Teddy Bear Quilt
Pinks and blues, reds and creams – florals, polka dots and the prettiest teddies tumbling around – a prefect quilt for a new little person. Diagonal quilting lines dissect the patches adding to the traditional appearance of the quilt.
Some of the quilts may still be for sale.
