Folksy Quilt store …

I’ve decided …

to open the Adaliza Quilt store!

It’s not going to be stocked out – just 3 or 4 quilts at a time.  I set up Folksy years ago and haven’t ever used it but with a bit more time to myself, I’ve decided to give it a go. Wish me luck!

I’m hoping to list the first quilts this week – pop over and see what you think.

Stay warm and dry – it seems that the conveyor belt of low pressure systems is still with us this week so we’re in for more rain and gales. If you want to see some dramatic pictures of storms in the UK over the last week – look here.  Our favourite seaside village in Cornwall – Porthleven – caught the brunt of the storm, with 6 boats sinking in the harbour as the harbour defences were smashed.  There are photos & video links of amazing waves battering the clock tower, beach and port.

Dearest Porthleven – hopefully the worst of the storms are now over .
We’re thinking of all our friends in the village.

Hope you sell lots of your lovely quilts. We have seen lots of pictures of Porthleven on the local news I thought of you as I know you love visiting the area. The huge waves and destruction to the South West coast has been awful.Sarah x

I read your post too – it’s been heart-breaking. In previous years we’d have been there this weekend for half term, but we’re going in a few weeks’ time instead. Maybe the weather will be better then – hopefully.

I’ve sort of given up on getting snow and am so pleased that we live at the top of a hill (which isn’t good in snow), but feel desperately sorry for people whose homes are flooded.
