Busy Spring days …

22/03/2016 § 4 Comments

Out and about with fairs and markets – the most recent was a new venture in London – Putney Antiques and Vintage Market held on the 3rd Sunday of every month.

Moral support was needed for this trek so my best friend (we went to school together and have lived as neighbours for many years) came too – I was so glad of her help.

It was a really busy day and I was delighted when my daughter C also came along to chat to customers and revive us with coffee and cakes during the afternoon.

Long walks with the collies and the expectation that within a couple of weeks the hedgerow will be stippled with blossom and green shoots.

WIP = a dresser top to hang on the wall.
It’s now a beautiful shade of duck egg blue but needs some finishing touches and I have just the place for it – can’t wait to hang it up (or I may have to ask Trevor-the-builder to come over and fix it properly – at least then it’ll be good and straight on the wall!).

And … on the most wonderfully sunny day last week – with such a flavour of Spring in every breath – I simply sat on my rocking seat under the apple tree, with a cuppa in hand and looked up at that new extension to my home – phew, it was worth it!

Enjoy your Spring days!

So good to have some moral support with new locations, your stall looks so lovely and full of wonderful things to buy. The dresser top must look wonderful painted in duck blue. All that disturbance must have been worth it as you look back at the extension, while sitting under the April tree. Sarah x

Enjoy these wonderful Spring days – down by the sea in Dorset!

  • Ooh! I’d love to visit your booth. I immediately settled my eyes on the fox pillow, and am glad for the detail photo. (Today I am going to try, again) to unravel my wordpress account, so I can finally comment. Wish me luck!)
