Parent & Child Patchwork :: 2-4 pm
Before the workshop –
Pop over to Adaliza’s Pinterest and have a look at some patchwork patterns and colours, so you’re inspired and ready to sew on the day.
A fun half-term activity for a rainy day may be to create your own scrapbook/pinterest boards of patchwork ideas that you like.
Please let Adaliza know if you would like to use a studio sewing machine.
Tea/coffee and cake/cookies will be available.
Please note that toilet facilities are located in a separate building accessible only via steps.
On the day –
Arrival from 1.30 pm so that you can set up your own sewing machine or get to know the studio machine that you will be using. Bring your own sewing notions – scissors, thimble, unpicker and anything else that you like to use when sewing. Fabrics will be ready cut so the rotary cutter won’t be used.
- This is a fun workshop with lots of fabric!
- By the end of the afternoon, you will have a completed patchwork panel, suitable for a cushion cover.
- All patchwork cottons used on the afternoon are included in the course fee.
- 14″ cushion pads will be available to purchase.
